Hi Key Clubbers! We would love for you to join us and bring some happiness to Grace Living Center for the holidays by making Christmas Cards. You can come to Mrs. Roberts’ room in the Freshman Academy today (12/11) after school from 4-5 to make some Christmas cards and earn service hours! If you are quarantined or can’t make it today, no worries! You can turn in cards made on your own to Mrs. Roberts’ room until next Wednesday and still earn service. Each card will be counted for 30 minutes, with a maximum of 4 cards per person. Thank you and happy holidays!

Due to the effects of COVID, we were unable to hold our annual job fair. But don’t be dismayed; our wonderful board members each made a slide and a video to help you guys pick out which projects interest you the most.
If you have any questions or problems regarding the presentation, feel free to contact me at email@example.com. But if you have any questions regarding specific projects, please contact the respective board members.
Here’s a safe and easy way to get volunteer hours. Just take a video of yourself reading a children’s book and send it to any of the emails below. This video could be shown to some classes for elementary students kindergarten through 4th. Normally these teachers would like volunteers to come into class and read to these students, but due to COVID, a video of yourself reading is a safe and easy equivalent to reading to these students. Send your video of you reading to any of these emails.
Hi, Key Clubbers! If you are interested in getting service hours, here is one way! All you need is to make a list of recommandations consisting of at least 12 books. One list can get you one hour of volunteer hours, and you can do up to 10 lists a week!
Step Two: Follow the instructions below to create a reading guide in Bibliocommons.
Step Three: Email Volunteers@tulsalibrary.org with a brief description of how many lists you made and of what type – you will receive one hour of volunteer work for a fully developed Guides and Recommendations or If You Liked lists with at least 12 thoughtful references. The Tulsa Library volunteer services will log your time after receiving and verifying your list. A limit of ten lists per week, please.
Click on My TCCL link and from the drop-down menu select Lists
Click on the Create a New List link
Choose list type – Guides and Recommendations or If You Liked If you select Guides and Recommendations as the list type, you may click on the down arrow in the List Type popup menu and select a more specific descriptor for your list
Give your list a unique title
Add a description of your list if you wish
Click on Add to List to search for titles to add to the list
If more than one item is located click the Add to List link to add the desired item – repeat step 9 until all titles have been added (100 max)
If you have any questions, you can always reach my through Remind. Send a text to 81010, and text this message: @jenksl
It would be deeply appreciated if you also send pictures of the recommended lists you’ve created. Thank you!
