Appreciation Banquet Childcare

An Appreciation Banquet at the Early Childhood Center (322 E C St, Jenks, OK 74037) needs 5-8 volunteers who are comfortable around kids (prior experience with kids would be helpful) the night of Saturday, January 27th from 5:30-10:00.  Pizza & drinks will be provided.  Please email specialprojects@jenkskeyclub.org to sign up!  

Volunteers Needed to Help Tutor English Learning Students!

Volunteers are needed Tuesdays and Thursdays from about 7:45-8:45 AM to assist teachers tutoring English-learning students in Science, Social Studies, Math, and English. If interested, please email k2khs@jenkskeyclub.org with your preferred subject and you will be given a teacher and room assignment to help out!

Needed: Tutor in Biology and Algebra 2

Jenks Gymnastics

“AHHH!!! I’m Mad” Parenting Class

Hi guys! If you were unable to volunteer with Mrs.Alvarez in her after school class last time, no worries! She will be having a parent child anger management class at Jenks East Elementary. She would like at least 5 volunteers since there will be about 30-75 parents/kids in her class.

WHAT – Make orbeez stress balls, decorate calm down box, manage tables and supplies, and etc. No worries on whether you know how to do these stuff or not. She will be there to show you how it is done.

WHEN – Thursday, November 30th and December 14th from 5:45pm-7:30 pm.

WHERE – Jenks East Elementary

Change of schedule in “Help in an Afterschool Class”

Hi y’all! If you signed up for the Help in an Afterschool Class for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (November 22nd), I just want to let you guys know that there won’t be class on that day because there won’t be school. Also, the class was supposed to go until December 13th, but is has been changed. The last class will be on November 29th. If you signed up to volunteer for the Wednesdays in December, I am sorry but there won’t be class during that month and forward. Jenks Middle School

Volunteers are needed at the Jenks Middle School Cafeteria on Thursday, November 30th to help set up, provide child care support, and clean up from about 5:30  to 8:45 pm while there is parent meeting. Opportunity at JWE

Hi, everyone! Mrs. Burnham from JWE would like to put a request for Key Club volunteers. She has word sorts that need to be cut apart and put in baggies. This is a project that can done at school or home. If you need hours of service, please let her know ASAP!!!

Jenks Food Bank Volunteering

As Thanksgiving is right around the corner, the Jenks Community Food Bank is receiving a lot of food from canned food drives. They are still in need of volunteers. They are open on Friday afternoons for volunteers from 4-5pm and would greatly appreciate your help!

Opportunity at Walmart with Families from Jenks

Hello! Mrs. Alvarez, the school counselor, needs volunteers who can speak Spanish and Zomi.

HELP – Translate what the needy children and their families are supposed to do and also help some of the families with shopping.
WHERE- Walmart at 81st and Lewis (gardening section)
TIME – 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm (ASAP after school)
DAY – Thursday, November 2, 2017
