The school is in need of high school student interpreters for the orchestra rental night Tomorrow August 25th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. They are in need of at least 4 Zomi/Burmese interpreters and 2 Spanish interpreters. Key Club Members!
Our first monthly meeting is this Thursday, August 26! Come to the building 6 auditorium before school (8:40 am) or after school (4:00 pm) to hear the vision for this year, to meet other club members, and to find out about new volunteer opportunities! You can also pick up your shirt if you registered online. Members will receive one point for attending the 20-minute meeting and another point for wearing their shirt to the meeting.

Hello, Key Clubbers! Jenks Southeast Elementary is having a Meet the Teacher day on Monday, August 16th.
Shifts are from 9-1:00 and 3:00-6:00.
We need four Key Club volunteers to help during each shift (8 total) with spirit wear (2) and school supplies (2).

Hello, Key Clubbers! This is the first—and a crucial—volunteer opportunity for the 2021-22 school year!
We need volunteers to work the Key Club tables at both the High School and Freshman Academy this year! Volunteers will:
- Recruit members to Key Club
- Hand out T-shirts
- Help members fill out their 2021 registration
- Take money
- Give out receipts
There are 1 hour slots, and we need at least two members working at each table at all time slots. You may sign up for as many slots as you wish.

Hey Key Club,
As most of you know our Big Event is just around the corner on April 5th. The goal of this day is to help out in as many ways as possible, one great and easy way that you all can do that is by donating to Tulsa Day Center. Tulsa Day Center is a homeless shelter that cares for over 10,000 individuals each month! Sadly we can not volunteer with them in person this year, but you can still make a huge impact in so many people’s lives. All you have to do is find or buy some clothes that you would be willing to donate to this center. They accept all sizes of both men’s and women’s clothing. The center is open from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm every day and is located at 415 W. Archer St., Tulsa, OK 74103. We would love for you to make your donations on April 5th during our Big Event, however if you are unable to do it on this day you are still encouraged to try and donate to this great cause. If you have clothes to donate all you have to do is drive up to the back of the center and call them at (918)-583-5588 to let them know you are there. They will come out to your car and take the donations for you. For every 3 articles of clothing donated, members will receive 1 hour of service. If you are unable to drop off your donations, please bring your donations to Mr. McCown’s room in building 5, room number 5-222, before or after school, between classes, or during advisory. Do you need volunteer hours during Spring Break? Or are you simply desiring to help your local community? If so, volunteering at Bridges is a great opportunity to help those in need while having fun doing so! The Bridges Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of unique individuals with disabilities and would love your help in achieving that mission!
There will be several days available for you to sign up to volunteer during Spring Break! These dates are listed below:

Board Project: Health & Wellbeing
What: Help operate a free Christmas shoppe for families in need! This includes wrapping the presents, loading the cars, greeting the people, etc.
When: Sunday, December 9 – Wednesday, December 12. You can volunteer for sessions ranging from as early as 12:00 pm to as late as 8:30 pm. Volunteering will be done through two-hour shifts, so you can sign up for multiple throughout the day! Schedules are extremely flexible!!

The May General Meeting has been moved to Thursday, May 3, before and after school in the building 6 auditorium. This meeting will be led for the first time by your new officers for the 2018-19 school year! Please come!
Also, board member applications are due the next day, May 4, to Mrs. Langley’s room at 4 pm so don’t forget to turn them in.
The Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless is an amazing organization that works in helping the homeless of Tulsa. One service they provide is having groups come in to serve meals. We will be putting together a Thanksgiving meal for the people at this homeless shelter. If you are going to be in town for Thanksgiving, this is the perfect opportunity for you to help more people have a great holiday! We need to have enough food brought to serve roughly 150 people. Food must be prepared before arriving and has to be ready to be served when we arrive. Foods that need to be hot, should be hot upon arrival. You can sign up on the attached sheet for certain food items or other needed supplies. If you can bring more than one item, that would be fantastic since space for people in the serving area is limited. I have worked with this organization for many years through my church’s youth group and I can not wait for Key Club to participate in this again!
