Update: Issue with Clothing Drive 2022

Hey Key Clubbers,

Thank you all for participating in the clothing drive over the last few weeks. Unfortunately there was an issue with the google form that you had to submit. Due to this issue some of your responses may not have been recorded, however this is unlikely as the form was only down for a few hours on Monday, May 23rd. If you submitted your form on this day please resubmit it or if you are unable to resubmit it please email Mercy Kim at and let her know how many items you donated and how many points you got with the photo of your donations so that we can still give you your points. Thank you for your service this year, and make sure you continue to check the website and instagram throughout the summer to keep up with all the volunteer opportunities that are coming up.

Volunteer with Luv Michael

Hey Key Clubbers,

A great way to earn community service hours this summer is by volunteering with Luv Michael! Through digital outreach, you can advocate for autism acceptance, support meaningful work for autistic adults, and make a difference in your community. This nationally recognized service can be used for college applications, scholarships, and can be applied towards the President’s Volunteer Service Award.

This program is one part learning about autism, one part advocating for autism acceptance, and one part creating meaningful work for autistic adults.

If you are interested please open the link below so you can schedule an informational call with the Luv Michael organization. After this introductory call you will be able to schedule times you can volunteer this summer completely based on your schedule due to their wide variety of volunteer opportunities and times available.

End of Year Clothing Drive for JHS Clothing Closet

Hey Key Clubbers,

I can’t believe that the year has almost come to an end, you all have helped our community this year in so many great ways. We have one more big volunteering opportunity that we hope you all will be a part of.

Our school has a clothing closet that is used to provide our very own students with clothes when they are in need. As the year comes to an end the closet needs to be restocked and we need your help to do so. The closet is in need of everything so feel free to donate any good condition clothes that you have. If you are donating socks or undergarments they need to be a new pack from the store.

Each item of clothing will get you the following points:

Shoes: 5 points per pair
New Pack of Socks: 2 points per pack
New Pack of Undergarments: 2 points per pack
Shirts: 1 point each
Shorts: 1 point each
Hoodies and Jackets: 3 points each
Pants, Jeans, and Leggings: 2 points each
Hats, gloves, and other accessories: 1 point each

If you don’t know which category your item falls within just pick whichever is the closest.

All you have to do is stop by the nurses office with your donations and scan the QR code that they have ready. This code will take you to a google form that you need to fill in to get your points for volunteering. Make sure to take a picture of your donations and fill in how many points you earned. Thank you for making the world around you a better place.

Urgent: Volunteer at the PGA!!!

I am excited to share with you this great information about an opportunity that may be once in a lifetime. We have been asked to help out at the 2022 PGA Championship event from May 16th-22nd. This event is taking place at the Southern Hills Country Club here in Tulsa. In order to help out at this event you must first go through some orientation to get prepared. Attached is a flyer regarding the information you need in order to help out at the event. Unfortunately, some of the orientation opportunities have passed but there is still a chance for you to do your orientation tomorrow (05/14) and you will even be paid for your time spent at this orientation.
