Lacrosse Semi Finals and Finals

Volunteers are needed at the Jenks High School Stadium to man a food tent, sell tickets, police the stadium for trash/keep it clean, and fill water bottles on the sidelines to help with the Lacrosse Semi Finals and Finals games on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7.  On both days there are two hour shifts from 10am – 8pm.  Volunteers also get to watch some great lacrosse between duties. Flycatcher Trail Summer Prep

Jenks Flycatcher Trail needs volunteers Saturday, April 29th from 8am-4pm to rejuvenate the trail and plant a few summer plants.   The trail is located on the backside of the Freshman Academy (404 E F St, Jenks, OK 74037). Volunteers can come and go as they like. If you have yard tools please bring them (supplies are limited), and a hotdog lunch will be provided!

GradFest Picture Boards

Volunteers are need to help put together the Picture Boards for GradFest 2017 on Sunday, April 30 from 2:00pm-6:00pm on the JHS Sharp Center 3rd floor.  Volunteers can come and go as they like!

Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children mobile-pack event needs tons of volunteers (parents welcome) to pack hundreds of thousands of meals in just days.  Other clubs are also helping out with this event. They will have us pack meals in 2-hour block sessions:

Friday, April 28, 2017:         

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

8:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Saturday, April 29, 2017:        

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

11:30 AM – 1:30 PM

The event will be held at Liberty Church – 7777 S. Garnett Rd Broken Arrow, OK 74012 (across from Union’s 9th grade center).  Website for more details:  Volunteers MUST email to sign up and get registered for a specific shift!

Most Key Clubers will volunteer on Friday from 5:30-7:30.

Boxer Rescue Bark, Walk, and Pet Fest

The Boxer Rescue of Oklahoma, a non-profit privately funded volunteer run organization, needs 25 Volunteers for their Bark, Walk, and Pet Fest on April 29th (Saturday)! There are four different shifts between 7am and 5pm that you can sign up for here:  Additional information:

The Boxer Rescue of Oklahoma is dedicated to the safe placement of homeless or displaced Boxers throughout Oklahoma. The annual Bark Walk & Pet Fest is a grand event that helps raise the much needed funds to continue this great work. The day starts with a walk-a-thon and ends with a giant festival of fun!

Pet contests, a ton of local vendors, over 15 local rescues with available pets for adoption, music, raffles, training tips, food trucks, kids zone that includes a bounce house and face painting, microchipping, and so much more.

They need help starting with set-up to tear-down and everything in between..even the fun stuff!

You will receive a FREE volunteer t-shirt, so please make sure to tell them what size you need when it asks you at the sign up! You will get breaks, so bring some money if you want to try out the food trucks and local vendors…we will have water all day.

Upon arrival at the event venue, you will need to check in at the “VOLUNTEER” tent. You will get your assignment and T-shirt. When you leave, please make sure to check out with your assigned person so that we can turn in your hours for your service.

PLEASE dress for the weather – morning can often be chilly!

Gymnastics Hospitality Room and Concessions Volunteering

The Oklahoma Optional State Gymnastics Championships, from March 17-19, needs volunteers (12 and older) for the hospitality room (sign up: and for the concession stand ( . The Championships will be held at the Jenks Middle School gymnasium (3019 E 101st St, Tulsa OK 74137).   Thank you for volunteering!

OMA Update

Thank you for every one that was interested in the Open Minds through Art program,  but they do NOT need any more volunteers for the February 7th – April 11th sessions. 

Frank Herald Gym Poster Hanging

3-5 volunteers are needed February 9th* after school at the Frank Herald Gym to tape and hang up posters for basketball senior night.
