OMA Update

Thank you for every one that was interested in the Open Minds through Art program,  but they do NOT need any more volunteers for the February 7th – April 11th sessions. 

Frank Herald Gym Poster Hanging

3-5 volunteers are needed February 9th* after school at the Frank Herald Gym to tape and hang up posters for basketball senior night.

Open Minds through Art

A few volunteers are needed on Monday’s to prep the art materials from about 3:15-4:45 for the Open Minds through Art program at the Montereau retirement community (6800 S. Granite Ave Tulsa, OK 74136).  If interested, please email: to get more information and sign up!

Club Picture Day

Club picture day is Tuesday, November 29th, 1st hour in the PAC for grades 9-12.  NO SHIRT, NO PICTURE.  We would be happy to have you!

Ruts ‘n Guts Cycling Event

Flycatcher Trail Fall Clean Up

Volunteers are needed for the Flycatcher Trail Fall Garden Clean-Up and Planting day on Sunday November 20th from 12:30-4:30 pm. This would be 4 of your 5 hours for November earned in just 1 day! Have questions? Or want to sign-up? Contact Mr. Humphrey at!

Trojan Tough 5k

3rd annual Trojan Tough 5k on October 8th needs volunteers from 7:15am-10:00am at the High School Track to encourage runners along the course, help tear down, finish line help, and so on. Please email to sign up!  

Tulsa Humane Society’s Bow Wow BBQ

The Tulsa Humane Society is holding a Bow Wow BBQ that needs volunteers October 1st from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm to help set up the event at Southwood on Lewis.  Please email to sign up!  

Tulsa State Fair

The Tulsa State Fair is looking for volunteers! You get free entry into the fair, a free T-shirt, Special parking, a discount on select food, and an appreciation party afterwards in honor of the volunteers.  Requirements: You need to be at LEAST 16, volunteer 4 shifts during the time frame of Thursday Sep 29 to Sunday Oct 09, and attend the orientation meeting on Saturday Sept 17 th at 10am.  If you cannot volunteer 4 shifts or cannot make the meeting and/or have questions, email the volunteer coordinator Penny Rose at or call her at 918-636-2888.  To Sign up or look at all the volunteer activities that are available visit!

Hometown Huddle

Hometown Huddle needs volunteers September 16 at the Education Services Center parking lot (at JHS) various times between 2:30-8:00.  Volunteer help will include: 2:30-4 helping vendors unload food for the sponsorship dinner & table set up; 4-7:30 bathroom attendant (check for TP and paper towels), help vendors, runner & cleaning up; 5:30-7:30 empty trash cans & runner; 7-8:00 take down tables, chairs & clean up; 4-7:30 volunteer table & general help.  

Also there will be a clean up September 17 from 9-10am. This group will make sure the parking lot and surrounding areas are clean.
