Hey seniors! I hope you all have been volunteering and staying involved. The Key Club cowl is something you can wear at graduation to show how you’ve been an active member of Jenks Key Club this year!
- In good standing by May 1st (96 points recorded or 48 hours of service)
- Volunteering in every month September-May (not just the spring)
- Attending at least 5 general meetings this year
- Attendance of at least one social this year
We will determine which seniors can receive a cowl after May 1st and will be available to pickup to borrow in Mrs. Langley’s room or to purchase. Must be returned by the end of the school year.
Happy service! I hope to see all of our active senior members showing Key Club spirit at graduation!
Text me on the remind if you have any questions!

There is a new program for mentoring elementary school children in the Jenks District. So far, we have one request for a mentor at JEE but there may be more mentoring partnerships soon!
It’s simple: eat breakfast a few times a week with the student and walk them to class! You are their friend, cheering them on, when they sometimes do not get all the support they need.
Breakfast at JEE runs from 8:00 to 8:25 and the students can be walked to class (tardy bell rings at 8:30). Depending on how much time you have, you could even start the EE student on their morning work or sit with them for morning meeting. (This second part would be on a case by case basis. We would have to make sure it’s not more of a distraction then a benefit).
For more information and if you’re interested, please contact Courtney Pruner at firstname.lastname@example.org
Needing Hours? There is a fun event that draws racers from all over the region, and pros from around the country. Please feel free to email them if you have any questions (email@example.com). You heard about this if you came to the meeting yesterday!

Volunteer with your friends!
- Spots for help available in the sign up (google doc) below.
- We have spots for course crossings (you can volunteer with a friend if you want as we need two people per crossing) and chip collection.
- We can use help throughout the day, or if you are wanting to just be a part of teardown, that would be the biggest help.

Families in the Jenks Community are counting on us in their time of need this fall and winter!
Below are details for tomorrow evening. This is a reminder for those who signed up to volunteer! Very important!
Mrs. Fouts (person in charge) can be reached at (918) 766-5536 if anyone has questions tomorrow.
When you arrive and head up the escalators, you should already find boxes of programs at each set of doors on either side of the arena.
Reminder: This year, we need our Key Club volunteers to get to the Mabee Center a little earlier than normal.
Please enter the Mabee Center through the west entrance (facing Walmart) with their IDs by 5:15pm.
IDs will be checked by security (who should also have a list of volunteer names).
The names of volunteers who signed up first are: Thank Khai, Cing Kim, Cing Guite, Lian Nuam, Maya Reeves, and Cing Niang. They have your name on a list that you are helping out and are counting on you!
Please divide the number of volunteers so that there are students passing out programs at each entrance along the top level. Some can be stations near the escalators, and some can be stations on the opposite side. Guests should be allowed to enter starting around 5:30pm.
Once everyone has taken their seats and it looks like no more programs need to be passed out, you are free to leave (around 7pm).
Contact email@example.com or (918) 766-5536 if you have any questions.
We are having what will probably be our last Flycatcher Trail event of the semester this Sunday (4/28) from 1-4 in the afternoon. However, you may come and go whenever you can help throughout this time.
We will have many new flowers to plant at the trail on this day, and will finish putting new gravel over the last bit of the picnic area!
Thank you all for the large turnout at each of the Flycatcher Trail events this year! The trail is looking great thanks to you all, and we have gotten so much done with your help.
