Help in Afterschool Class at JEE

Hi guys! Mrs.Alvarez, the school counselor, needs about 5 volunteers every Wednesday starting September 27 – December 13. The class she’s teaching about anxiety and stress starts at 3:30 and she says that it is fine to come in the middle of the class since she knows that we get out of school later. You’ll probably need to help out with cleaning and on some days, including September 27, you might get additional 1-2 hours helping her make yarn ball, glitter bottles, Orbeez, and etc. for her other class. If you are interested, please sign up on this website and sign up on any days that you are available. Each slot is open to 5 students. BTW, she will be in building E, room 427 at JENKS EAST ELEMENTARY.  And also, turn in the hours you earn from this to me at : vung.lian37@jenksms.com or k2keast@jenkskeyclub.org

Jenks East Clothing Closet

Hi Key Clubbers!

The clothing closet at Jenks East Elementary is in need of volunteers! This task will include sorting and organizing bags of donations. The hours would be anytime, Monday- Friday 2:30-4:30. Volunteers can come as much or little time as they would like. To volunteer for this, Key Clubbers must report to building F and ask for Holly Enzbrenner.

Thanks!

K2K East Volunteers Needed

Hello Fellow Key Clubbers!

I hope by now you have emailed your teacher and worked out a time to serve regularly! I thought I would remind you of what you need to do before the end of each month.

  1. Turn in your hours at Key Club’s hours page
  2. If you worked at Jenks East Elementary fill out this quick form. This form is so that I can verify your hours and you can get points.

For those of you who still haven’t contacted your teacher I encourage you to do so. I have loved getting to volunteer at East Elementary because it is a fun and unique way to get service hours (which you can use for Key Club, Distinguished Service Graduate, college applications, community service based scholarships etc). Also, It is not too late to email your teacher and you can always contact me if you have any questions!

In Service,

Kelsey Yeagle
