How: Sign up genius link below. Only sign up for spots that say: Food/Beverage, Luggage Crew and Bike Compound. The consent form that needs to be filled out is also on the sign-up genius, so make sure that you do that. Also, if you can, screenshot the time that you sign up for and email it to me so we can keep track of what volunteers are from Jenks and which ones are not.

The American Heart Association will need volunteers for their annual Heart Ball event. The Heart Ball is an event that is orchestrated in order to celebrate the leading efforts of the foundation in ensuring the wellbeing of the community. Volunteers will be asked to help with a variety of tasks throughout the day including unloading supplies, setting up the silent auction, and helping decorate the ballroom.
- Saturday, February 9 from 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM (Day of the Heart Ball event. Since this is a formal event, the required attire for the Saturday shift is a black shirt and pants with comfortable shoes/tennis shoes. Volunteers will also be treated to a light dinner such as wraps/sandwiches for their hard work!)
- Note: You can sign up for as many slots as you desire! Also, make sure to sign up for the shift on 2/9!

Board Project: Health & Wellbeing
What: Help operate a free Christmas shoppe for families in need! This includes wrapping the presents, loading the cars, greeting the people, etc.
When: Sunday, December 9 – Wednesday, December 12. You can volunteer for sessions ranging from as early as 12:00 pm to as late as 8:30 pm. Volunteering will be done through two-hour shifts, so you can sign up for multiple throughout the day! Schedules are extremely flexible!!

Hey everyone! Fleet Feet Tulsa is a Tulsa running organization that promotes fitness and well-being! On Saturday, September 15, they will hold the Q race. They will need about 5 volunteers to help out with the race! The starting location of the race will be Fleet Feet Blue Dome, 418 E 2nd St, Tulsa, OK 74120.
Our specific spot will be water stop #2! We will be volunteering from 8:00 am-9:30 am

Hey everyone! The Bridges Foundation needs volunteers on Friday, August 10, from 8:00 am-4:00 pm at 1813 N. Ash, Jenks, OK 74037. Volunteers can help in a variety of ways including tutoring, mentoring, administrative assistance, and creating arts & crafts with clients.
There will be a morning and an afternoon shift that can be chosen from. However, volunteers are not required to work the whole shift. Any and all help is greatly appreciated and goes a long way in helping our local community!! Also, if you need summer hours, this is an amazing opportunity as you can earn up to 8 with both shifts!!! And there is no limit to the number of people who can volunteer, so feel free to bring a friend!

The Bridges Foundation needs volunteers on Tuesday, July 25th from 9:30 am-4:00 pm. The Bridges Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of unique individuals with disabilities. This volunteering opportunity mostly persists of mentoring, tutoring, and office help.
This volunteering session is divided into two shifts, each approximately 3 hours each. You can volunteer for both shifts and there is no limit to the number of people who can volunteer. This is a great way to not only earn hours during the summer, but also help instill a positive influence in our community!

Hey all, as you may know, public schools probably will close on April 2nd due to the teachers’ strike. The Bridges Foundation is allowing any students with disabilities to be taken care of there for free Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm during the strike.
Also, they will need many helpers during this time!! It would mostly involve classroom help and other fun activities.
